During this week’s roundtable, we had as our guest Greg Gianforte, Founder and CEO of RightNow Technologies. Greg took RightNow public, and later sold it to Oracle for $1.5 billion. He made an unorthodox choice of building the company mainly in Montana. Today, RightNow (now Oracle) is one of Montana’s largest employers, and Greg is considering running for Governor of the state. I would, in fact, love to see him run for President. Having known him and his work for a decade, I am confident that he would be a far better leader than the buffoons we see in politics, especially in the presidential race. Today’s conversation was outstanding. Please listen to the recording if you missed it.
AirZurv
As for the pitches, first up, Inna Morgan from Edmonton, Canada, pitched AirZurv, a solution for airlines to handle delays and flight rebooking. Inna has spoken with five prospects. She needs to speak with 50 ASAP, and then some. First order of business: customer validation.
Vamos Gazab
Then Sohil Agarwal, from Denver, Colorado, pitched Vamos Gazab, a ride sharing service that he hopes to launch among students in Denver. We discussed ways of getting the business going.
