LeapFrog Enterprises (LF), the educational gaming company, announced their Q1 2008 results yesterday. Their revenues of $58.3 million were 4.3% lower than previous year Q1 revenues but were substantially higher than the market’s expectations of $51.7 million. Last week on April 30, Akamai Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: AKAM) reported its first quarter results that beat profit estimates but missed revenue estimates by a million. Microsoft (MSFT) announced their Q3 results yesterday. While their revenue for the quarter of $14.5 billion met market expectations, their EPS of $0.47 exceeded the street’s views of $0.45. The revenue for the quarter reported an increase of 14% over the previous year while the EPS reduced by 6% from $0.50 in the previous year Q3. >>>
