Roundtable Recap: December 19 – Final One For 2013

During today’s roundtable, we had representation from Texas, California, and three cities in India.

Nanothermo
First up, Rekha Bangalore from Austin, Texas, pitched Nanothermo, a thermal cooling technology for LED lighting. Rekha needs some funding, and is having difficulty cracking the seed market in Austin. Well, semiconductor, cleantech and related markets are seeing very little funding these days. Besides, it seems Rekha has been approaching VCs, whereas, the deal is at a seed stage.

Letsintern
Next, Rishabh Gupta from Mumbai, India, pitched Letsintern, a portal for students to connect with internships, as well as other career development resources. Letsintern has recently changed its business model from employers paying for the service to students paying. The company is generating revenue, and trying to figure out its growth strategy vis-à-vis financing, markets, etc.

January 9 – 200th Roundtable For Mentoring Startups
