Corona Virus looms over everything we do right now. We had extensive discussion on the subject today. My primary strategy for all our entrepreneurs is that biz dev should go on. Do it online. Do it by phone. Do it through content marketing. Do it through Zoom or Webex. But don’t freeze. Your funnel needs to keep moving.

As for our entrepreneur pitch, today we had Christine Outram pitching Everydae, an educational app venture. I suggested to Christine to investigate comparables for her venture. In 2020, with so much innovation already under way, competition and comparables are areas that investors cannot ignore.

Applicature
Next, Ian Arden from Palo Alto, California, pitched Applicature, a marketplace for VCs to access LPs and startups to access VCs. I advised Ian to validate with prospects, not advisors.
