How to Explain One Million by One Million (1M/1M)

One of our partners asked me for an overview of 1M/1M in a letter form. He wanted an easy way to explain 1M/1M to a government agency that he is part of.

Here is the essence of this letter. Please feel free to use it when you are trying to explain 1M/1M to your associates or any agency in your region.

One Million by One Million is a global initiative that aims to nurture a million entrepreneurs to reach a million dollars and beyond each in annual revenue by 2020, thereby creating a trillion dollars in global GDP and ten million jobs.

Knowing how important technology entrepreneurship for your region is, we want your entrepreneurs to be part of 1M/1M in significant numbers. We are very keen on working with any organization in your region that can facilitate the introduction of your regional entrepreneurs to 1M/1M.

Silicon Valley entrepreneur and strategy consultant Sramana Mitra founded 1M/1M to create a framework for capitalism 2.0, which she envisions as distributed, democratic capitalism.

The program itself is completely virtual, so it is accessible to any entrepreneur from anywhere as long as he or she has Internet access.

An entrepreneur who lives in a small village in the middle of nowhere can still be part of 1M/1M, just like a graduate of an elite university.

In that, 1M/1M is very democratic. We accept any entrepreneur in the world who is prepared to work hard on his or her own business, regardless of pedigree or starting point.

Once entrepreneurs join 1M/1M, they have immediate access to a case-study-based online educational program, video lectures, and methodology, online strategy consulting at public and private online roundtables, as well as introductions to customers, channel partners, and investors when they are ready (pre-seed, seed, angel, VC, bank, alternative financing).

The cost is only $1,000 per entrepreneur for one year.

We are aware that some agencies worldwide spent $30,000 to $50,000 and more to bring each technology entrepreneur to profitability or fundability.

At 1M/1M we can help 50 entrepreneurs for $50,000.

Just think what 50 profitable entrepreneurs can do for a region. Growth in that region will become exponential.
