Sramana Mitra: The other interesting slice of the market view that you’ve provided is this whole world of people who are not doing e-commerce. They’re slow adopters that you’re now bringing fresh onto the Internet. That’s a very interesting world. Given that you’re operating in a territory that is a lot more behind than where
Sramana Mitra: As your primary playing ground, right? Suchit Bachalli: Right. One of our earlier adopters Mayer Electric are based out of Birmingham, Alabama. I think they’re $800 million in revenue. They just had a regular website. There was no commerce and no way to buy anything online. Today, they have the full commerce solution.
Sramana Mitra: Let me get a bit more granular in some of these steps. When you started getting the sense that there was this product opportunity while you were essentially acting as a reseller and system integrator on top of what became the Adobe technology, what was your business situation? You were a self-financed company.
Sramana Mitra: What did you do after that? Phil Copeland: There were a lot of lessons learned out of that. First of all, the original business was self-funded and was grown out of cash flow. Sramana: So your ultimate strategy is to go to market through third party consultants? Krishna Kumar: We want to empower consulting companies to run with projects based in our technology. Sramana: Do you have any proof points of your technology working and providing actionable recommendations? Krishna Kumar: We are very new and we have just started the pilot project for that use case.
