Vikas is one of the earliest Angel investors in India, and invested in early successes like InMobi and Myntra. We discussed the evolution of the Indian startup and venture capital industry.

Next, Nag Kukkadapu from Hyderabad, India, pitched ReferenceGlobe, an EdTech company that already has 175 colleges using its product.
During this week’s roundtable, we had as our guest Shripati Acharya, Managing Partner at Priven Advisors, advising Prime Venture Partners, a firm focused on core technology ventures in India. Unlike most VCs, Prime does concept-stage investments.
Oracle project
As for the entrepreneur pitches, up first we had Arun Philips from Bangalore, India, who is also an Oracle-sponsored 1Mby1M Premium member. He pitched a blockchain based impact assessment solution.
During this week’s roundtable, we had as our guest Michael Smerklo, Co-founder and Managing Director at Next Coast Ventures. We discussed some of the ventures his firm has invested in and the philosophy in general.

As for the entrepreneur pitches, up first we had Chris Ziomkowski in Klong Luang, Thailand, pitching XTend Online, a high performance chip company.
During this week’s roundtable, we had two startups pitching. Both show excellent execution.

Up first we had Andrews Chand from Noida, India, pitch ShipSafe, a marine vessel audit system that he has paying customers for. Excellent execution thus far and a very promising company.
Cricket Sporto
Next Jyothish Prakash, from Kochi, India, pitched Cricket Sporto, a cricket sporting equipment company that wants to operate on a hybrid model. Their current 3-store brick and mortar business generates significant revenue, and an e-commerce store is soon to be launched. Also excellent execution.
