The high growth agentic AI market has attracted several players with startups gaining traction as enterprise interest shifts from passive co-pilots to more autonomous systems. Palo Alto-based Ninjatech AI is one such player in the market.
>>>Sramana Mitra: Okay. Now I’m going to ask you about the delivery side. So you and your friend Chandra started the business. How did you grow the implementation team?
>>>I am always thrilled to do stories of pioneering entrepreneurs building technology startups in remote locations. Vantage Circle Co-founder and CTO Anjan Pathak brought us into the nascent scene in Guwahati, in the northeast Indian state of Assam, when we spoke in 2023.
Sramana Mitra: Let’s go back to the beginning of your journey. Where are you from? Where were you born and raised? What kind of background did you have?
Anjan Pathak: I was born in a small town in North East India. It’s about 50 kilometers from Guwahati. I spent my childhood there. I studied in a very small school.

Sramana Mitra: If you quantify what was happening in these accounts, you were landing the accounts with your ERP channel and partnership management expertise and then growing those accounts. So, when you landed those accounts, what were the deal sizes and what kind of deal sizes were you able to expand these accounts to?
>>>Sramana Mitra: In this niche, did you have customer relationships?
Anji Maram: Yes. Especially in the Bay Area, there were several customers who needed this business process to be implemented. Due to my consulting experience and my prior company’s experience, we already had a trusted relationship with the industry.
