First, it would serve you well to learn the Core 1Mby1M Methodology of how to build a startup. You learn key concepts like Bootstrapping, Positioning, Customer Validation, Customer Acquisition, Market Sizing, Financing and Team Building.

Second, pick a domain in which you have some degree of Unfair Advantage. Then, do the relevant Elective module in the 1Mby1M curriculum.

Third, use the 1Mby1M Self-Assessment tool to test your ideas. It’s okay to come up with multiple ideas and evaluate each of them. See which one comes out at the top.

Coming up with an Idea is one thing. Ideas are a dime a dozen. But working through the steps to get to a Validated Startup Idea with Legs is an entirely different ballgame.
