In the tradition of my postcards from Asia last winter, this summer, I will write you a few postcards from Europe.
Last night, we went to La Ferme des Templiers in Wavre, outside Brussels, a 17th-century farmhouse belonging to the Templar Knights, now a bed and breakfast, and also the site for Cédric Bossuyt’s superb restaurant, La Table des Templiers.
Beautiful restoration, lovely ambiance, and just extraordinary food.
As you know, I am working on the Vision India 2020 book which addresses a number of entrepreneurial opportunities in travel, tourism, cuisine, and beverages. And I have a longstanding interest in restoration and preservation of history, culture and heritage. I find myself constantly thinking about ideas as I encounter well-executed concepts like this Templar farm and restaurant.
