TradeKing Financial Entrepreneur Pitch-Fest Competition Postponed

Due to TradeKing’s involvement in a merger,  the TradeKing Financial Entrepreneur Pitch-Fest Competition has been postponed until Spring 2013.  Interested entrepreneurs are welcome to apply to pitch now. We are especially interested in companies with the following types of financial businesses to pitch:
-Online tools providers
-Mobile tools providers
-Platform SDKs
-Data visualization tools

Roundtable Recap: September 13 – Five 1M/1M Ambassadors Win Scholarships

During today’s roundtable, we started the session by celebrating five of our high performing ambassadors: Danielle Faber from Ontario, Canada; Erin Frank from Madison, Wisconsin; Javier Hernández Pérez from Madrid, Spain; Shilpa Kolte from Singapore, Malaysia; and Saikat Sengupta from Kolkata, India. These five have contributed particularly significantly to the program over the summer, and we look forward to continuing to work with them, as well as our other ambassadors.

Entrepreneurs are invited to the 142nd FREE online 1M/1M roundtable on Thursday, September 13, 2012, at 8:00 a.m. PDT/11:00 a.m. EDT/8:30 p.m. India. If you are a serious entrepreneur, register to “pitch” and sell your business idea to Sramana Mitra. You’ll gain constructive feedback and she’ll answer any of your questions. Deadline September 28: TradeKing Financial Entrepreneur Pitch-Fest Competition

On October 4 and 11, 10 companies (20 in total) will be selected to pitch online to Silicon Valley strategist Sramana Mitra as part of the TradeKing Financial Entrepreneur Pitch-Fest Competition. Each 5-minute pitch will be followed by a 5-minute strategic analysis by Sramana. Following the pitches during each online roundtable event, Sramana and Dan Raju, CIO of online brokerage TradeKing, will select the top 6 entrepreneurs (12 altogether) who will be awarded a full tuition by TradeKing to Sramana’s 1M/1M program – valued at $1,000 each!

We are interested in financial businesses for this competition, especially online tools providers, mobile tools providers, platform SDKs, and data visualization tools.
