November 29 – 150th Free 1M/1M Roundtable Mentoring Session

We are holding our 150th 1M/1M roundtable on Thursday, November 29! It is hard to believe we have been running FREE mentoring sessions for entrepreneurs since 2008. To celebrate, we will be holding a regular working roundtable session with five 1M/1M members. Building a scalable mentoring platform that can effectively work with entrepreneurs all over the world makes 1M/1M a truly unique program. This roundtable is a great opportunity for you to see exactly how we work with and mentor our members. Plus we will also be making some cool announcements, so don’t miss it, register here.

November 29 – 150th Free Mentoring Session From 1M/1M

It is hard to believe that we have been running FREE mentoring sessions for entrepreneurs since 2008, and are holding our 150th 1M/1M roundtable on November 29!   To celebrate and mark this accomplishment, we will be holding a regular working roundtable session with five 1M/1M members. The key area in which 1M/1M has been able to make a differentiated impact is in building a scalable mentoring platform that can effectively work with entrepreneurs in almost every corner of the world, as long as broadband Internet is available, and English is the language of communication.

Roundtable Recap: November 15 – Democratization Of Startup Financing

Before I get into today’s roundtable, I want to point you to a discussion on Democratization of Startup Financing that I suggest you read, given your interest in early stage startups. Here’s an excerpt:

In anticipation of the JOBS Act, the democratization of the startup and small business financing industry is heating up. I wrote about CrowdFunding: Trends and Opportunities recently. Most of this is still a hypothesis. Investors have not started writing debt or equity checks to random strangers online yet. They may, they may not. We shall see. Donations, however, are happening. But donations won’t get us to a significant momentum in startup funding. Read: Democratization of Startup Financing: What’s in Store
