Hernan is a co-founder of MercadoLibre, Latin America’s e-commerce leader. Today’s discussion featured a comprehensive overview of the trends in the Latin American startup scene.

As for the pitches, we had Arushi Agrawal from Redmond, WA, pitching VogueTote, a subscription service for women to “rent” designer jewelry and handbags. VogueTote is currently generating $2000 a month in revenue, and has validated its core assumption. Next, it needs to figure out a repeatable customer acquisition strategy.
