Greg Robertson: It was a giant hassle for realtors to learn two MOS systems and having to buy two separate pieces of software to access these systems. It was a big problem. That problem came down here in Orange County where half the county went to one system and the other half went to another.
Greg Robertson: Now we are talking about the early 1990s when laptop computers started to play. They needed a person that knew computers because they had these projectors, which now seems commonplace where you throw a big computer screen on a big screen in a ballroom. Back then these projectors were specialized.

Sramana Mitra: What channels are most of your content distributed on? Is it social media? Is it Facebook? Peyman Nilforoush: We assumed the same thing, that most of it will be on Facebook. However, it’s very specific to the kind of content. For example, we have a lot of B2B clients. A lot of times
Sramana Mitra: Are you talking about the category that Outbrain and Taboola have been in? Peyman Nilforoush: They are the ad networks. Sramana Mitra: They were in the business of propagating and pushing content.
Peyman has done two startups in the ad network and content network field, and this discussion takes us through that journey. Sramana Mitra: Let’s start at the very beginning of your journey. Where are you from? Where were you born, raised, and in what kind of background?
Sramana Mitra: Who were buying at this point when you were doing this company in the early 2000s? Bassel Ojjeh: I left Yahoo in 2009 and started what I just mentioned to you. That was from 2009 to 2010 onwards. Financial industry, banking, and mobile operators were buying at this point.
