Cameroon is often considered the most vibrant startup ecosystem in Central Africa, with its dual identity as both a French and English-speaking nation giving it a unique advantage. Hubs like ActivSpaces have nurtured a community of innovators tackling local problems. Central Africa’s startup ecosystem is arguably the most challenging and nascent on the continent. With political instability, limited infrastructure, and fragmented markets, the region presents immense hurdles for entrepreneurs. However, this also means the opportunity for disruption and impactful innovation is vast.
