Ntiedo Etuk is a graduate of Cornell University’s School of Electrical Engineering. He also holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, where he was a Beta Gamma Sigma graduate. He has managed the creation, implementation and analysis of various consumer products for Bank One and Citigroup. With Citigroup he was selected to work directly with the Chief of Staff to Citigroup’s president, Bob Willumstad. Ntiedo left Citigroup in April of 2004 to focus on Tabula Digita full time.

SM: Let’s start with your background. Where does your journey begin?

NE: I was born in Nigeria. My father is Nigerian and my mother is from the Bahamas. They met in Canada. From day one I was brought up with a sense and the expectation that I would do more for the community. >>>

SM: Was there something I should have asked you but didn’t?

DC: I would like to add some thoughts on innovation. I think in certain cleantech markets, China might be ahead of the curve. There are fewer regulations in China. If Menlo Park were going to put a smart energy grid storage in place, residents would most likely vote against it. In China the government says it is going there and that’s it.

According to a February 2009 ComScore report, millions of consumers have begun watching short video clips frequently throughout the day. Over 75 percent of the US Internet audience, or more than 145 million people, view videos online. Further, the average online viewer watches 312 minutes (5.2 hours) of video per month, that in segments of three clips per day, which is 30% more than last year. The average duration of an online video is 3.5 minutes.
