It was perfectly worthwhile to wake up at 3:30 a.m. and head to Cisco’s telepresence room in Santa Clara this morning at the crack of dawn. What followed was an animated discussion with friends – old and new – in the Indian media. For me, above and beyond everything else, it was great fun brainstorming with a group of people who care about entrepreneurship, who each have their circles of influence, and have been thinking about the entrepreneurship development issue from various perspectives. >>>
There has been a buzz of activity in the wireless market with several Android phones being launched, including the Droid by Motorola on Verizon. Since the launch of the iPhone, AT&T has been increasing its subscriber base and Verizon has managed to keep up with the competition. However, Sprint and T-Mobile are finding it hard to hold on to their customers, and the gap between them and the top two has been increasing at an alarming rate. >>>
This is what I intend to discuss with the Indian media today, read my Zero In column for this week: India’s Next Celebrities. I related to Shane that an organization like HP labs needed to strike a balance and that I would abide by that philosophy if I came to HP Labs. >>>
Folks, all those of you who are entrepreneurs, do me a favor, and please, please listen to this radio show.
Today’s roundtable was excellent. Some of the presenters had done more advanced preparation, enabling me to take the conversation to a higher level. Have a look, and I strongly encourage all of you to prepare better for the discussions to get more out of them. Use the appendix of EJ3 for this purpose, as well as the books. The next roundtable will be on December 10.
Also, tonight, I will be interviewed live on the Blog Business Success Radio program at 8 p.m. EST/5 p.m. PST. You can listen and call-in from here. I am going to discuss Positioning in depth with Wayne Hurlbert’s the show’s host.

It also allows the interviewees to share little pearls of wisdom that they were given as they grew up. >>>
