Sramana Mitra: The other point I want to make in this discussion is that AI is not only generative AI. There are many, very powerful problems that are being solved with AI, but not necessarily generative AI.

There are over six million students enrolled in Machine Learning courses on Udemy. The most daring will try to start their own businesses.
For these learners, we continue to introduce Udemy courses based on the 1Mby1M methodology that will assist budding entrepreneurs in creating a pragmatic strategy.
I believe, strongly, that entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial capitalism can be democratized, and wealth can be created in the middle of the pyramid using capitalistic principles. In the next 2-3 decades, the potential for distributed capitalism is very high and the outcome should be extremely positive around the world. That is the mission upon which my current work with One Million by One Million is based.
Artificial Intelligence, Big Data and Machine Learning are going to be at the forefront of this immense burst of energy.
Sramana Mitra: Let’s switch to your precision medicine area. Take me through a case study.
Joga Gobburu: What we have is an advanced clinical decision support system. This system is integrated and sits within the hospital electronic health records. When a physician diagnoses a patient with a condition and is considering a treatment, let’s say for a very serious infection.
>>>Sramana Mitra: Were you able to get that approval?
Joga Gobburu: Yes. We got the consensus from the FDA, and they agreed to this preemptive marker. It’s underway already.
Sramana Mitra: My next question in the context of this case study is, what is it that you know from the adult trial that can be applied to the pediatric trial? What are some of the parameters that you could model?
>>>Sramana Mitra: I’d like to explore two directions based on what you said. Have you actually developed a drug using this methodology or have you facilitated drug development for a pharmaceutical? If you’re allowed to talk about that, I want to do a use case of stepping through the whole process.
Joga Gobburu: Absolutely.

Big Data Analytics and Machine Learning techniques are starting to achieve dramatic impact on drug discovery and precision medicine.
Pumas.ai is a bootstrapped venture at the cutting edge of the field. I learned much from this conversation. You will too!
Sramana Mitra: Let’s start with an introduction of yourself as well as the company.
>>>Sramana Mitra: One thing you didn’t mention is, the channels through which customers interact with an enterprise have expanded. Each of those has become a source of data. Any kind of messenger chat has become a source of data. People are touching the enterprise through many channels. Each of them is generating data. It gives AI a lot more ammunition.
Krishna Raj Raja: The omnichannel made AI more complex as opposed to simplifying it.
>>>Sramana Mitra: Is your primary customer base in the tech sector?
Krishna Raj Raja: Right now, we are focused on the tech sector. This is intentional. We have closed a lot of technology companies. Salesforce is one of them. Others are Databricks, Snowflake, 8×8. The who’s who of Silicon Valley are using us. The reason why we chose to focus on them is that technology companies have highly complex support.
