For a long time now, I have been watching how badly AdSense judges what Ads my audience might be interested in viewing. Today, this has reached a level of hilarity that I couldn’t resist commenting on!
Google has pushed Exotic Hardwood Flooring to my business audience of entrepreneurs, technologists, investors and analysts.
Talk about a total and absolute disrespect for Context!
You never know!!Maybe the thinking behind is ” only business audience of entrepreneurs, technologists, investors and analysts,can buy exotic hardwood flooring”.
I would say its pretty relevant Sramana.
The google adsense is not only contextual but also complementary.
Someone who is interested in buying air tickets is also interested in hotel reservations.
So, someone who is an investor may also have free cash stacked somewhere to invest in ‘Exotic hardwood flooring’
Doesn’t surprise me at all.
