Last night, we saw a beautiful concert by an acclaimed Flamenco dancer, La Tania. This morning, I was telling my mother about the concert. My mother lives in India, I wish I could send her video clips of the pieces that especially struck me.
Much as music sharing has become a grand killer app on the web, sharing dance clips just hasn’t taken off. There was an announcement at the beginning of the show, “Taking photographs or videos of the show are not allowed”.
I wish there would be a service that records all dance concerts all over the world and puts them up on an iTunes like portal. Searchable, sortable, consumable – by genre, by artist, by …
